VIKING wooden ring for dreads.
The ring and stick are coated in gold leaf.
The gold is chosen because Valhalla is the huge golden hall of Odin, in the middle of Asgard, the realm of the Norse gods. It is here that Odin, the Allfather, gathers the greatest Norse heroes to spar, drink, and feast together with his Valkyries and the bard god Bragi until Ragnarok.
Its roof was made of warriors’ shields, its rafters were spears, and its seats around the feasting tables were warriors’ breastplates.
Also made a long braid, decorated in golden color – Triquetra and a large lattice bead.
In Norse culture, the Triquetra symbolized the eternal spiritual life which was also believed to have no beginning or end. While the symbol was widespread through Nordic cultures and is quite similar to other Norse symbols such as the Valknut in its design, the Triquetra is believed to be a Celtic symbol originally.
