use 2 clip-ins on each side of the head, with the ponytail placed at the crown (or styled into a dread bun).
If you want an even fuller result, you can add extra clip-ins for the back of the head or for back and sides:
2 additional clip-ins (6 total), or
4 additional clip-ins (8 total) for maximum volume and coverage.
