1. HOW TO INSTALL? What is the difference between DOUBLE ENDED (DE) and SINGLE ENDED (SE)?

INSTALLATION IS SIMILAR:

Single-ended (SE) – one dread/braid/lock with a single end and a loop at the top for installation.
• Best choice for a lighter install, and especially recommended for the hairline and temples if your hair there is thinner (the rest of the head can be done with doubles).
• A full head set usually consists of 70–80 singles, so installation takes about 1.5× more time compared to doubles.
• If you want to extend your own dreads, you’ll need singles (cutting doubles in half is not recommended).

Double-ended (DE) – one piece with two ends, folded in the middle, so it looks like two strands when installed — but it’s still one piece, not two separate ones.
• Creates more volume and covers your natural roots better, making the style look thicker.
• A full head set usually consists of 45–50 doubles, so they install faster — but weigh more than a full set of singles.
• Not suitable for extending your own hair, since cutting doubles will often ruin the texture (especially curls).

On the picture below you can see the difference between Single-ended and Double-ended.

LENGTH you choose when ordering:
SE – length of single dread;
DE – length of each side (when folded in half).

A video of the installation – you can see in our Instagram or Facebook!
It doesn’t matter if the set consists of dreads, or with braids, or/and curls, double or single ended – the installation is the same
